Disclaimers and Customer Information

This page lets you know about all the essential Policies for the Bee Cabin in order to protect the Bee Cabin and inform its Customers of their rights.

Terms and Conditions

  • About us: Bee Cabin Ltd, Director: Jennifer Lewis, Units 3 & 4 Aboyne Castle Business Centre, Aboyne, AB34 5 JP.

  • Ordering process: a contract is formed when a confirmation email is sent.

  • Prices and payments: currency is GBP, 20% VAT is included in the price, payment is taken at time of purchase online.

  • Orders are Collection only in person unless small item postage arranged separately.

  • Cancellations, returns and refunds are stated below.

  • Product information: descriptions included in goods sections.

  • Safety and use: customers must follow product instructions and wear appropriate protective gear; Bee Cabin is not responsible for misuse.

  • Limitation of liability: Bee Cabin Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, to the maximum extent allowed by law.

  • Intellectual property: Bee Cabin Ltd photos, text and logo are property of Bee Cabin Ltd and cannot be reused without permission.

  • These terms are governed by the law of Scotland.

Refund / Cancellation Policy

  • Customers have 14 days from receiving their order to cancel, and another 14 days to return items back to the shop (unless they’re perishable or custom‑made).

  • Items cannot be returned if opened such as bee feed, treatments, jars/packages of honey or cosmetics.

  • Returns are accepted when unused, in original packaging, reasonably clean and resaleable.

  • Returns can be only accepted for a percentage of the full price due to charges incurred with online payment fees accrued by the Bee Cabin.

  • Returns can be accepted back at full price (under conditions mentioned above) for exchange with other items in store.

  • Refunds are back to original payment method within 14 days of receiving the return.

  • Damaged or faulty items can be replaced in store. It is the customers responsibility to check the item prior to leaving after purchase. Any goods sold second hand are "sold as seen" and no returns, refunds or exchanges are allowed. Any items given as gratuity are non returnable for refunds or exchange.

Fulfilment and Shipping

  • At present Bee Cabin do not ship goods via mail/postal services as standard. It is a collection only in person service.

  • In cases where small items can be shipped the customer picks up the cost of shipping and this is paid prior to goods being dispatched. 

  • Bee Cabin retains a receipt of postage from Royal Mail but responsibility of the package being delivered is under the control of the courier.

  • Bee Cabin is not liable for any missing packages which have proof of postage.

Privacy Policy

  • Bee Cabin Ltd collects: name, address, email, phone number, payment details (processed via your payment provider), order history, website usage data (cookies/analytics).

  • Bee Cabin collects this information: to process orders, deliver goods, manage your account, send service emails, improve the site, and (if you choose) send marketing with consent.

  • Bee Cabin Ltd uses this information for: performance of a contract, legitimate interests, and consent for marketing.

  • Sharing data: Bee Cabin Ltd shares this data with couriers, payment processors, email provider, website host, and Bee Cabin Ltd does not sell personal data.

  • Cookies: essential, analytics, marketing and how users can manage them.

  • Data security and retention: Bee Cabin Ltd keeps data on orders for tax/legal reasons.

  • Customer rights: access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, data portability, and the right to complain to the ICO.
